Taking public transportation to work and being a frequent traveler, it can be easy for me to get sick being exposed to all those germs. One way I prevent being sick year round, especially with the season changes is eating better and resting when needed. Part of my healthy eating habits is having breakfast daily with most of the time it being a smoothie. I also add Emergen-C to my breakfast smoothies because it is an easy and delicious way to take vitamins that are important to my healthy lifestyle. Emergen-C is packed with B vitamins, antioxidants†, electrolytes plus more vitamin C than 10 oranges^.

 Banana Berry Breakfast Smoothie

I purchased Emergen-C Super Orange from my local Walgreens to mix in my Banana Berry Breakfast Smoothie. Here’s the process to make it:

Banana Berry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • Emergen-C Super Orange – 1 packet
  • 6 oz. fresh blueberries
  • 1 cups coconut water
  • 1 banana

Banana Berry Breakfast Smoothie

Directions

  1. Add ingredients in the following order: coconut water, Emergen-C Super Orange, banana, blueberries, and blackberries
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  3. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

  1. Emergen-C Super Orange – 1 packet

    I do the same thing and I add ginger during the colder months. I also take my vitamins and sleep. All are extremely important.
