February Favorites 2017

It’s already the end of February and I’m back with sharing my favorites for the month. In January I shared my five favorite hair and beauty products and this month I’m including things that have been holding my interest. If you’re interested in what I’ve been into lately, below are my five February Favorites (say that 3xs fast).

e.l.f. Cosmetics Blush Palette

As an e.l.f beauty squad member, I’ve been getting monthly boxes and for the end of January, members received the e.l.f blush palette (in light) in our package. Since receiving the palette, it has been a go-to for every makeup look. The e.l.f. blush palette has a combination of shimmer and matte shades and can also be used as eye shadow.

NBC’s Timeless

Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE history. NBC’s Timeless is a new series about a man who steals a time machine in attempts to destroy America by changing the past. A scientist, a soldier, and a history professor use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to stop him while trying not to change the past. From Colonialism to the Civil Rights Era, this show had me in school all over again and I love it! I hope there is a Season 2.

Shooting in Manual

On our last Photo Funday the lighting was so bad, I HAD to change my camera’s settings to manual. The pics came out very nice and Nay’s  Voice shared a few shots on her Instagram page. Here’s one of them.

The Cold Shoulder Trend

My next trip will be the end of March so I purchased a few pieces from Boohoo.com, including a colder shoulder top and dress. I’ve never had any pieces like this and was happy they looked nice.

Spaghetti Squash

In attempts to cook new meals, I found a video from Tasty on how to make spaghetti squash. I purchased one from Trader Joe’s, mixing it with ground turkey and meat sauce. My brother who is a spaghetti lover even liked it. I will definitely be trying more zoodle and spaghetti squash recipes in the future. Look out for more recipes this year.

What were some of your favorite things for February?
