Spring has sprung, but old man Winter doesn’t want to go away quite yet. We recently had a mild snowstorm, that left me to work from home for two days. Breaking from my slight cabin fever, and taking advantage of the shining sun, I wore my puffer vest with over the knee boots for the afternoon.

A puffer vest is great for transitioning weather. It keeps your core warm when needed and it’s not bulky and uncomfortable like a full puffer coat. While in Barcelona, wore it with a cardigan or hoodie my entire trip since the weather was in the 50s and 60s. This time I just wore a sweater and scarf underneath.

These over the knee boots have come a LONG way. I purchased them from DSW about 6 years ago and was able to restore their ruined sole at local shoe repair. I love that over the knee boots can be worn dressed up or down for a cute and comfy look.

This is really cute! I always like the way vests look on other people, but they look weird on me.

I love the way you accentuated the scarf with the outfit, and riding boots are always great to have.
