We speak almost every day, but nothing beats catching up with my sister face-to-face. I usually take advantage of the weekend by not cooking and kicking back so her visit was perfect timing to have a girls night in with Wendy’s and drinks. I went to my local Wendy’s to purchase a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Dave’s Single® combo with a Strawberry Lemonade and Strawberry Passionfruit FruiTea Chillers. To celebrate our girls night in, we mixed the drinks with Grey Goose Original Vodka.
Mixing Wendy’s Signature Drinks with Grey Goose Original Vodka
We poured the Grey Goose Original Vodka into about ¼ of the cocktail mixer and filled the rest with Wendy’s Signature Drinks Strawberry Passionfruit FruiTea Chillers and ice. After shaking for 10 to 15 seconds, we poured the mixed drinks into our cocktail glasses. For a more formal gathering, you can garnish with strawberries or even lemons if you choose to mix with the Strawberry Lemonade
If vodka is not your alcohol of choice, you can also mix Wendy’s Signature Drinks with Bacardi Rum. If you recall, my sister and I spent an extended weekend in Puerto Rico visiting notable sites in old San Juan and touring the Bacardi Rum Factory. While on the tour, we learned about the Bacardi brand’s history and tried samples of their various blends.
We spoke about work, my blog business, my future travels, and our plans for the year. The night was literally filled with lots of laughs. We used to fuss and fight all the time growing up, so bonding time helped me appreciate our sisterhood. Hopefully next time our older sisters can join in on the fun.
