Facing Winter in the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (Review)
Many thanks to Drive Shop and Mitsubishi Motors for providing the 2015 Outlander Sport for my review. As always, all opinions expressed are my own.
Before my trip to Cartagena earlier this month, I received the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport to test for the week. With snow still on the ground due to Winter Storm Jonas, it really came in handy. Here are a few things I loved about the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
The Interior
The interior was very spacious. Even though I didn’t have the kids over for the weekend, I know driving around with them wouldn’t be a problem in regards to space and then being comfortable. The car was sporty for a guy, but not so much where a woman would think it was “too manly”. The trunk was also roomy enough to fit the of products I needed to drop off for Type 4 Naturals’ Brunch With Bae event.
Performance & Safety
Snow on the ground in NYC and me driving an SUV. Need I say more? The 4WD was EVERYTHING! I had the ability to switch from 2WD to 4WD manually or set it to auto 4WD when needed. An added Safety feature that worked well due to the street conditions was the All-Wheel Control (AWC) system. As a new driver, it was good for me because the system transferred power and braking to the wheels with more traction on slippery or icy roads. I wasn’t able to pair my phone wirelessly, but that was an added feature as well.
The starting price for the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is $19,595. For more information, visit your local Mitsubishi dealer or MitsubishiCars.com
