This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of ThredUp
Many of you know that I love to save money whenever I can to fund travel for the year. In efforts to staying stylish, but stay within my budget, I’ve turned to the largest online thrifting and consignment store ThredUP.
Using ThredUp for Consignment
A benefit of using ThredUp for consignment purposes is getting cash for used clothes or receiving a credit to purchase secondhand items from their online store. After signing up, I requested a Clean Out bag, filled it with my clothes, and mailed it via USPS. A few weeks later, I received a notification of items received, their selling price, and the percentage I would receive after they were sold.
Using ThredUp for Thrifting
Recently, I’ve been using ThredUp for their thrifting services. If you remember from my Cancun vlog, I ripped a pair of my favorite jeans (thick thigh problems 😩). Unfortunately, this has happened at least three times since then. I decided to search their online store to pick jeans that matched my brand, size, and price preferences. I went with a pair of Old Navy Rockstar Jeans that were less than $7. Since I saw how great the prices were, I added more pieces to my shopping cart. My total savings was over $300. Here are all of the items that I picked out.
My favorite piece was the Sanctuary Faux Fur Vest. I’ve been looking for a faux fur piece and this is a perfect addition to my wardrobe. There were other items, but I was able to return them using ThredUp’s easy return policy. Once the items are received, I will get the amount credited back to my account for future purchases. If you’re interested in using ThredUp for online thrifting services, make sure to head over to their official site or download the app.
