Staying Productive with Walmart Family Mobile

I recently changed plans on my regular phone to be under the company’s plan, but it feels funny mixing personal business with my full-time job. I’m trying to save more, but since it is tax season, I have some extra cash coming in. During one of our recent family road trips, I went to Walmart to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime.
Since I wasn’t an existing customer, I also had to buy the “Starter Kit” with a Sim card for $25. When choosing a plan, decided to get the Walmart Family Mobile Plus Plan; it includes unlimited talk, text, and data (with up 10GB of 4G LTE data) for only $49.88. It also came with a $7 value free movie every month for Walmart’s video movie service VUDU, that I can use to stream movies through my Chromecast for movie nights.
A benefit of my profession and being a lifestyle blogger is the ability to work anywhere as long as there is a reliable internet connection. The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime has apps I can use for blog productivity like memos, email, messaging and Google drive. I also can download free or pay for apps through their store. With this new phone and 10GB of data, I can:
- Stay connected with friends and family while I’m on vacation or working remotely
- Keep my blog and work business separate
- Use it for social media management on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and emails
Walmart Family Mobile is also on T-Mobile’s Nationwide Network. Since I travel so much, I know I will get good coverage when traveling in the US. If you want a good quality phone for yourself with no credit check or hidden fees, see if the Walmart Family Mobile Plus plan works for you. You can also speak with a representative in your local Walmart’s electronics section for more information.

Thanks for the FYI! This service is new to me.
I haven’t thought about Walmart for my mobile plan. This sounds like a good option to explore in the future.
This sounds like a great affordable option! Especially if you have a teenager in your home!
I used it for getting my dad a phone too, but it’s definitely a good option for a tween or teen
Wow! I didn’t realize Walmart had an actual set of phone plans. This IS a really great way to manage data and phone calls in an inexpensive manner. I will be going into full-time entrepreneurship soon, so will definitely look into this.
They have nice smart phones too.
This sounds cool. Sounds good for an extra phone or those in school. I am not sure what I am going to do with the extra money.
It’s a great plan, especially for a teenager or college student.
Love how more mobile companies are offering better flexibility. This sounds like a great option that won’t break the bank.
Anything that’s good quality and affordable is always great for me.
this sounds like it would be great for my teen cousins who are on budgets. how fast is the internet for you? do you see any difference between this phone and your other?
I have Verizon, so the quality is better, but AT&T and Verizon was my job’s only options. TMobile’s service isn’t bad and like most services, after a certain amount of data is used, it does slow down.
This sounds like a great deal for families with older kids that need to stay connected. Cell phone plans for families can get expensive, I’m glad to hear that there are other options
Walmart mobile plan is good for large family wish is a great idea.
This sounds like a great plan to have if you want to keep your personal phone separate from your personal one – which is such a great idea in itself! #client
