Hilton Expands Caribbean Presence with New Elephant Tree Resort and Villas Tobago, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Hilton (NYSE: HLT), a global leader in hospitality, has announced the signing of Elephant Tree Resort and Villas Tobago, the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in Tobago. Set to open in 2028, this 21-acre beachfront development promises a luxury experience inspired by the island’s natural beauty, vibrant culture, and local charm.
Located in Roxborough, on the island’s scenic southern coast, Elephant Tree Resort and Villas will blend boutique-style hospitality with immersive, island-inspired experiences. The property will offer:
- 40 guest rooms and 126 branded residences, including:
- 88 spacious three-bedroom units
- 38 stylish two-bedroom units
- Private terraces, premium finishes, and up to 1,560 sq. ft. of elevated living space
- An optional rental program for residence owners
Operated by Hotel Equities, the resort will feature extensive amenities, including:
- A full-service spa and fitness center
- Three swimming pools, including a dramatic multi-level waterfall and a children’s splash pool
- 400 sq. ft. of event space, ideal for intimate weddings and gatherings

Guests can indulge in a range of dining options, from a beachside bar and grill offering oceanfront views and Caribbean flavors, to a chic lobby bar with curated cocktails, and a signature all-day dining restaurant with indoor-outdoor seating.

The property will complement Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre and join Hilton’s growing portfolio in the country, which includes three new developments: Hilton Garden Inn Trinidad Airport, Hampton by Hilton Trinidad Airport, and Hilton Garden Inn San Fernando South Park.
