3 Reasons to Stay at Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club Puerto Plata

LHVC - lifestyle holidays vacation club reviews

I’m on a mission to travel as much as I can so I spent my first international trip of the year in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic at the Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club (LHVC). It was my first time using Groupon for hotel travel and my first experience at an all-inclusive resort.

The Residence Suites Were Beautiful

Based on the package purchased, I stayed at the Residence Suites. The suite included a King-sized bed with full living and dining room areas, a bathroom with stand up shower, a full kitchen with a stove, utensils, and a mini-fridge providing water, beer, and soft drinks as well as an outdoor area for eating, relaxing or smoking overlooking the pool. I loved the fresh flowers included in the bathroom over the towels; lovely touch. Below are the different sites available at LHVC and the video of my room tour.

The Food at Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club was Great

We didn’t have any room service, but LHVC has many restaurants. Breakfast is usually a la carte and depending on the restaurant you go to, lunch and dinner are their respective food genre. Below are the restaurants we dined at from Days 1-4. I am a meat lover so dining at the Brazilian Restaurant was a plus.

  • Bellini (Italian)
  • Rodizio (Brazilian Steakhouse)
  • Casablanca (International Buffet)
  • Indochine (Asian)
  • The Pearl (International Buffet)
  • The Blue Lagoon (Seafood)

The Activities and Services were On Point

LHVC Puerto Plata offers a free shuttle service around the resort. It is available and runs every 25 minutes from 7 AM-11 PM. We were barely at the resort because we took advantage of the Outback Safari and City Tour excursions, but amenities include access to over 19 restaurants, 39 bars, adult and kid pool areas, beaches, a nightclub, spa services (for a fee), as well as water and land sports. LHVC also provides activities for kids 4-12 every day, a teen club as well as babysitting services. You would need to put in a reservation to use the babysitting service.

Day one at the lifestyle holidays vacation club resort

There’s pretty much something to do every night. VIP parties are held on Sundays and Thursday nights and include food, drinks, live entertainment, and more.

Check my video showing clips from the Thursday Night Party.

For my first resort, the Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club satisfied my expectations and I can’t wait to go to another.
