I usually DON’T jump on trends, but when I saw the video introducing Fenty Skin, I felt I HAD to ride the wave. I love sharing Black and Caribbean owned business, Rihanna’s hustle, and since I was running low on products for my morning skincare routine, buying Fenty Skin Start’rs for my combination skin was a no-brainer.
Using Fenty Skin Start’rs also helped cut my morning skincare routine to roughly 10 minutes, leaving me with more than enough to spare after waking up to start working remotely.

About Fenty Skin
Designed to compliment Fenty Beauty makeup products, Fenty Skin is a vegan, cruelty- free clean beauty brand. Inspired by Rihanna’s travels, the products are a combination of ingredients specific to skincare from around the world.
Fenty Skin Start’rs include the Total Cleans’r ($25), Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum ($28), and Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer and SPF ($35). To save money, you can get the entire bundle for $75.
Morning Skincare Routine with Fenty Skin Start’rs
Since beauty products get pricey, I appreciate products that have multiple uses. Items included in the Fenty Skin Start’rs are 2-in-1 products that can be the start of (or your full) morning or night time skincare routine. If you’re thinking about purchasing Fenty Skin Start’rs or looking for a quick 10-minute skincare routine, keep reading my Fenty Skin review.
Fenty Skin Total Cleans’R Remove-It-All Cleanser

The first step in my 10 minute skincare routine is using the Total Cleans’R Remove-It-All Cleanser. The main ingredients include Barbados cherry which has more Vitamin-C than oranges and helps brighten skin and Ginko Biloba which helps to clarify.
I haven’t been wearing much makeup, but this product is formulated to remove dirt, oil, and makeup without making your skin feel dry. When applying, I wet my hands or my face first, bring the cleanser to a lather before massaging on my face, rinse with water, and pat dry with a microfiber towel or paper towel.
Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum

The second step in my morning skincare routine is using the Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum. This product combines the benefits of a toner and a serum in one. With ingredients like Australian Lemon Myrtle, Nicotinamide, Cactus flower, and Barbados cherry, the Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum it tightens your pores, reduces oil, hydrates, and improves dark spots.
Applying the Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum on my face and neck leaves a long-lasting hydrated and smooth finish.

Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen

The last stop in my morning skincare routine is applying the Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen. This product contains ingredients like Kalahari melon to hydrate skin and SPF which we all need to protect our skin.
What I love about this product is that it doesn’t leave a tingling sensation on my face as a lot of facial moisturizers do. After cleansing and toning, I apply the moisturizer on my face smoothing it in until the product goes clear. Don’t forget to apply and reapply throughout the day if needed.

Overall Fenty Skin Review
Even though there are a lot of negative reviews about the fragrance, it doesn’t bother me at all. In fact, the Total Cleans’r and Fat Water remind me of being in the Caribbean. I have been using Fenty Skin Start’rs in my morning skincare routine for almost three months and absolutely love the glow it has given me.
Since the product launch, Fenty Skin has included the Fenty Skin Start’rs Set in travel-sized minis and an Overnight Recovery Gel Cream. You can purchase Fenty Skin Start’rs and refills on their official website.

I haven’t tried any of the Fenty skincare but will change that soon! I think the negative approach to fragrance was a bit OTT but everyone is entitled to their opinion
If you’re iffy, get the travel size and buy the full size afterward. I wish they came out with the smaller one first, but I like it so I’m good. The return policy is good too.
