Full Skirt with Floppy Hat

Did I mention I LOVE Fall Fashion? The Sunday after coming back from San Juan, Puerto Rico was so nice, I wore my favorite full skirt with a floppy hat to church.

I’ve always found full skirts and fit and flare dresses to be good for me since I have a pear shape. I’m also still in the beginning stages of my fitness journey so I added a black belt to cinch my waist just a little bit.

I’m usually NOT a hat person, but it worked out very well as a cover for my braids fully dry. As a natural, I minimize heat usage to prevent heat damage by air drying my hair. Since my hair is super thick, it takes well over a day for it to dry.

Adding a hat hides the drying process and is a great accessory for my final look. I finished the look by wearing wedged booties that I bought from Target. Not only are they cute, but they’re also super comfy. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting, unlike traditional high heels.
